 PRICES
Tour prices are valid for minimum of 02 passengers for tours departing between 01 April 2011 to 31 March 2012, unless otherwise stated. Tour East Singapore reserves the right to change prices any time before the tour is completed if there is an unavoidable increase in cost to Tour East, as a result of an increase in fuel prices, taxes or any other unforeseen circumstances. In the event that a further payment is required by Tour East Singapore, this will be requested from the passengers in writing. Failure to pay this sum will be treated by Tour East Singapore as a cancellation by the tour member and will be subjected to the terms stipulated under "Cancellation & Refunds".
PRICES INCLUDE
Prices are per person quoted on the basis of 02 persons sharing twin-bedded hotel rooms and include:
• All transportation and sightseeing by deluxe air-conditioned vehicles.
• Breakfast and lunch daily as specified in the itinerary.
• Hotel accommodation with private facilities.
• Porterage for one piece of luggage per person.
• Services of a professional licensed tour manager and an experienced driver.
• Pick-up and drop-off services from major downtown hotels.
PRICES DO NOT INCLUDE
Dinners throughout and meals other than those specified in the itinerary. Also, items of a personal nature such as laundry and valet charges, telephone calls, beverages, room service and in-room mini bars. Gratuities to the guide and driver, although customary, are not required. Any such expression of appreciation should be made on a voluntary and individual basis.
SINGLE ACCOMMODATION
A limited number of single rooms are available at all hotels throughout the itinerary. Tour East Singapore regrets that it is unable to accept booking from individual passengers who desire to travel on twin share basis unless a travelling companion books and is confirmed simultaneously. Should it become necessary, for any reason for passengers occupying twin accommodation to separate and occupy single rooms, it will be necessary for both passengers to pay the differential directly to the hotels.
TRIPLE ACCOMMODATION
At most hotels, triple rooms consist of twin beds plus a rollaway bed or two double beds with or without a rollaway bed. Triple rooms are adequate for children accompanied by one or two adults. Three adults often find this arrangement undesirable and are cautioned accordingly.
ACCOMMODATION
If any of the stated hotels are not available, an alternative hotel of similar standard will be arranged.
CHILDREN
Children below 8 years of age cannot be accepted in the Jalan Jalan. It is also not recommended for children between 9 and 10 years old. Child fare (below 12 years) is 75% of an adult twin-sharing cost and is based on a child sharing a twin room with two adults with a rollaway bed provided, unless otherwise stated. No concession is available for child occupying a single or twin sharing room with an adult.
RESERVATION & PAYMENT
A 10% deposit is required at the time the reservation is accepted. Final payment must be made at least 30 days prior to departure. If reservations are made less than 30 days before tour commencement, full payment is required at time of booking.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
You are strongly recommended to take up a travel insurance policy at the time of booking, against loss of deposits through cancellation charges, baggage loss, medical expenses etc. The company makes no representations or guarantees concerning reimbursements of funds paid by you under any insurance claim.

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing and is subject to cancellation charges on the scale shown below:

Any cancellation made AFTER the specific period of notice or NO SHOW, will subject to FULL payment on the TOTAL number of nights booked per villa.
No refunds can be made after a tour has commenced or in respect of any tours, transfers and accommodations or any other services not utilised. Refunds will be made within two weeks of the date the cancellation was received. If Tour East Singapore cancels the tour as a result of force majeure (eg. storms, flood, acts of God, trade dispute, hostilities, government acts of regulations, failure of sub-contractors to perform, etc), then Tour East Singapore shall be entitled without liability to cancel the whole or any part of the tour affected. If such circumstances arise before departure, Tour East Singapore shall endeavour to make reasonable alternative arrangements for the tour to continue and if successful, any extra costs are payable by the passengers on demand from Tour East Singapore but not later than the day of departure of the tour. In the unlikely event that the tour is cancelled by Tour East Singapore prior to departure, all monies will be refunded and Tour East Singapore will be under no liability for damage or compensation to any tour member.
TOUR MEMBERS
Tour East Singapore and its associates reserve the right to decline, accept or retain any passenger as a member of any tour at any time, for any reason whatsoever, if at its sole discretion and at the recommendation of the tour guide, any passenger(s) is(are) unfit or unable to continue or if the enjoyment of any other tour member is impaired, the provisions of the above paragraph will apply.
SEATING ABOARD THE VEHICLE
No seats can be reserved aboard the vehicle, Tour East Singapore adheres to the practice where all passengers change seats in a regular pattern on boarding the vehicle in the morning and at midday.
LUGGAGE
The carriage and tips (porterage) for one piece of luggage is included in the tour price. This is ample as no formal dress is required. Passengers may bring on overnight case (for storage under the seat or in the overhead rack) but these must be handled by and in the care of passengers as regular luggage due to the risk of damage. Although the Tour Manager and driver will supervise the transfer of luggages to and from hotel rooms and every effort is made to handle the luggage with care, we recommend that you take up a travel insurance policy to protect against any loss or damages.
MEALS
At breakfast and lunch, Tour East Singapore endeavours to give tour members a choice of main course or to select items of their own choosing from attractive buffets where available. A wide choice may not always be available. Coffee and tea are included together with dessert where appropriate. The purchase of alcoholic beverage at any time is at the tour member's discretion and at own expense.

HEALTH & IMMIGRATION
Passengers should familiarise themselves with any health or visa problems that may be applicable in the areas which they intent to visit and shall be responsible for all exits, entry, health and other documents required by law. Please consult your Travel Agent. In the event entry is denied by the Authorities, Tour East Singapore will not be liable for any loss or expense due to passenger's failure to comply with the above.
RESPONSIBILITY
Tour East Singapore (1996) Pte Ltd, operator of the Jalan Jalan, 15 Cairnhill Road, #07-05A, Cairnhill Place, Singapore 229650, acts only as agent for various companies represented in Jalan Jalan Tour, and assumes no responsibility for liability in connection with service of any conveyance or hotel used. Neither will they be responsible for any act, error or omission or any injury, loss, accident, delay or irregularity that may arise. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable for the comfort or well being of the tour members or for any reason whatsoever, to alter the itinerary or arrangements, such alteration may be made without penalty to the operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the tour members, conversely refund will be made to passengers if any saving is effected thereby, Tour East Singapore is not responsible for lost tickets, coupons or adverse weather conditions. Tour East Singapore reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any or all tours should conditions warrant. All matters arising subject to Singapore law.
